HOW IT WORKS

Fluoride treatment is straightforward, and here’s what you can expect:

BEFORE

At your initial consultation, Dr. Sana Ahmed or Dr. Juned Mohammed will closely examine the dental surfaces and take digital x-rays to visualize the extent of the damage. Then, they will go over treatment options.

DURING

Dental fillings almost always require anesthesia, We use high speed electric handpieces to cut the tooth gently and completely remove the decay. Then, they will gently and efficiently prepare the tooth using laser light to discard any undesirable tissue while simultaneously cauterizing the area. Then, our talented dentist will fill in the tooth to protect it and reshape it.

AFTER

Generally, you can treat a filled tooth much like any other tooth. Brush, floss, and schedule regular dental visits. However, we ask that you’re gentle with your filled teeth, so they don’t wear down prematurely.  Also, tooth-colored filings last between 5 to 7 years. At that point, they should be replaced.
